If you were to organize a rally – where would it be? Maybe, Chernobyl? A community of adventure lovers from Switzerland choose exactly that place.
On 21st May 2017 Chernobyl Zone experienced a unique event – CATrophy. More than 50 cars and 150 people brought the ghost town of Pripyat back to life.
As organizer of the Chernobyl Rally Chris Huber said, CATrophy is a fun rally taking origin from Swirzerland. The idea is that you have to buy a car which is older that 20 years, and cost less than 2000 Swiss franks. And then you go to for an adventure whenever you like.
In 2017, they choose the ghost town of Pripyat. “I think, Chernobyl is an amazing place in the world, it is fully of history, and you never see anything like this. That is why we are here,” he added.
